Acrobatics
Many times we have become arrangers of the song instead of composers of worship moments.
We look for the coolest licks, the hardest runs, the unexpected note phrasing that makes music musical but can get in the way of creating moments.
I've written with a lot of people and sometimes people think that harmonies are important or the overall arrangement when youre yet to complete the verse.
Let's not forget we are vessels and we are being poured into so we can pour out. The pouring out should not be filtered by a faulty arrangement
